Friends of GALS
Calling all schools and nursery schools, we at the snail trail think that keeping GALS as classroom pets is an excellent idea, they can be used as an fantastic learning tool, teaching pupils many important lessons about nature, the natural world and responsibility, and we are keen to see you and your classroom pet snails.
In this section of the website we would like to hear from any school or nursery school that keeps Giant African Land Snails (GALS) as a classroom pet.
We would like to showcase your school, with some information about your school, your school badge, details of your class and most important your pet GALS.
We would love you to share some pictures of your class and your snail/s, with images of the pupils handling and feeding their snails, also any information you may have regarding projects you have either completed or are working on regarding your GALS, we would also be more than happy to include links to your own school websites.
If you think you would be interested in joining the snail trail "Friends of GALS" then please contact us via the contact us page, becoming a Friend of GALS @ the snail trail will also entitle your school to some free goodies for your snail from the snail trail shop.
